Fraction is important because is helps us to understand sharing in our daily life.
For instance, when our teacher buys a cake for our class of 28 pupils, we will need to cut it into 29 equal pieces to share. And the 29th piece is for our beloved teacher, of course!
If Natasha and Xiao Fang are absent, we will then need to divide the cake into 27 pieces.
If fraction is missing from our daily life, we will not be able to share in a fair way.

A fraction is a part or portion of a whole. A fraction is also a number that expresses part of a group.
Example, some children are sharing a pizza. We have to cut it into equal sizes so that each children will have the same share of pizza.
If we do not know fractions, the children will be fighting over the biggest portion of the pizza.

For example,I want to play a piece of music, I will need to know the Time Signatures known as 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 and many other more as you know. It will be not lovely if you do not follow the Time Signatures.For example, if you want to bake a delicious cake, you will need to know fractions in order to put the right amount of ingredient that you need to bake the cake.

Fractions is very important in our daily live. For example, my sisters and I were going to Coffee Bean for tea. We oddered a pie and we decided to share amongst all of us equally. Therefore, we must cut it into three equal pieces or 1/3.
That is why fractions is important in our daily life.If fractions don't exist we might share our pie

Learning of Fractions is important in our daily life.
Often in our daily lives we need to use fair shares. When we share a snack with our friends it is important to make sure each person gets a fair share of the snack.
If you and a friend share 12 crackers you need to show 2 fair shares. The fair share will be 12/2, each person would get 6 crackers. That would be a fair share.
Let's imagine you are sharing the 12 crackers with 2 friends. Now you will need to show 3 fair shares. Now the fair share would be 12/3 = 4 crackers for each of the 3 people sharing the crackers.

Fractions is one of the math which can be used in the daily life. If there is no fraction, then the world will have problems like cutting eqaul parts of cake or sharing money to buy something.
Ben ate 1/6 of the cake. Mothr ate
3/6 of the cake. What fraction was left?
1/6 + 3/6 = 4/6
6/6-4/6=2/6
So,there were 2/6 of the cake left.
However,to compare 2 fractions, we can make either the bottom of the 2 fractions the same. For example:
Ben coloured 2/9 of a circle. Ash coloured 1/3 of the circle. Who coloured more?how much more? and what is fraction left?

3/9 is bigger.Ash coloured more.
3/9-2/9=1/9

Learning fractions is important as it is related to daily life and I can see things in relation to its whole. I am able to apply it in relation to time, money, volume and whether mum is fair when she divides our gummies!
Example,melissa and i want to play arcard.The arcard cost $12.Melissa just have $6.6+6=12.So i need to lend her $6
